Yeah -- this car looks borderline ridiculous but hey -- surely there's a way to attach wings and make it fly?<br><br>Damn shame about GM -- stock below $10 for first time since 1954! -- and I was totally digging the profile of the Volt project from <a href="http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/200807/general-motors/1">last month's Atlantic</a>. Wow, I never quite got 40mpg off either of my Civics, but then again there was plenty of city driving involved. Yeah — this car looks borderline ridiculous but hey — surely there's a way to attach wings and make it fly?

Damn shame about GM — stock below $10 for first time since 1954! — and I was totally digging the profile of the Volt project from last month's Atlantic.

I'm looking for a new car, I have a 200 Civic that is getting beat up but the problem is that it gets _too_ good mileage. Almost 40 MPG with a roof rack on it. I have a 100 mile roundtrip commute to work so as soon as I see something that is compelling enough, that makes enough sense in both short term and long term expenses, I would go for it. I don't think I'm the only one in this boat. yeah that would be fun! I'm looking for a new car, I have a 200 Civic that is getting beat up but the problem is that it gets _too_ good mileage. I have a 100 mile roundtrip commute to work so as soon as I see something that is compelling enough, that makes enough sense in both short term and long term expenses, I would go for it.
